7 Brew Coffee app for iOS: Facebook Link Inside of App Takes User to Error Message Instead of Official Facebook Account When User Has Facebook App Installed on Phone

iOS 26.5.2 (with an app that has Facebook app 574.0.0 installed)

7 Brew Coffee app for iOS (version 1)

Date: 08/13/2026

Description:

There is a minor bug with the 7 Brew Coffee app for iOS. If the user has the Facebook iOS app installed on the phone, the Facebook icon/link on the "Account Settings" screen of the 7 Brew Coffee app does not work - it takes the user to a "Page isn't available now" error screen. Oddly, this link works fine if the Facebook app is NOT installed on the app.

This link is not working inside of the app.

The Facebook icon on the "Account Settings" screen links to:

https://m.facebook.com/7brewcoffee/

Steps to Reproduce:

1. On an iPhone running iOS 26.5.2 that has ownload and launch the 7 Brew Coffee app for iOS

2. Skip through the tutorial - enter the app in Guest Mode

3. Select the Profile icon in the upper left hand corner of the screen

4. From the ACCOUNT SETTINGS screen select the Facebook icon

5. Facebook opens and displays an error message

Expected behavior: The link should open the official 7 Brew Coffee Facebook page successfully, either in the Facebook app or in Safari.

Actual Result: The Facebook app opens but reports that the page is unavailable

The link inside of the 7 Brew Coffee iOS app.

This is inaccurate as there is 7 Brew Coffee Facebook page

Beni app for iOS: Facebook icon/link leads to a Linkedin page

 iOS 18.6.2

Beni app for iOS (version 3.0.3)

11/30/2025

Description:

Here's an odd issue with the Beni app for iOS. Inside of the app there's an image of a Facebook icon which implies that it connects to an official Beni Facebook account. Clicking on the icon takes me to a LinkedIn login page. Here's an archived screenshot of where the user ends up: https://archive.is/l5XAO

Please see the attached screenshots.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Download and launch the Beni app for iOS (version 3.0.3)

2. Create an account and enter into the app

3. Click on the slider in the upper left to activate the "Hey there !" slider menu

4. From the slider menu, select the Facebook icon

Result: After the user selects an in-app Facebook icon the user is taken out of the Beni app for iOS and to a Linkedin login page

Expected: A Facebook icon inside of the app should take the user to an official Beni Facebook page - NOT to a LinkedIn login

In-app Facebook icon. Clicking on this icon does not take the user to an official Beni app for Facebook. It instead takes the user to a LinkedIn login page.

 iOS 17.5.1

Dollar Tree app for iOS (version 1.2.0)

Date: 06/08/2024

Description:

There is a minor issue with the Dollar Tree app for iOS. The Facebook link inside of the app does not lead to Dollar Tree's official Facebook account. It instead leads to this:

Dollar Tree - Facebook Error

Here's the link the user becomes stranded on:

The Instagram/Twitter/TikTok/Pintrest links all work. The Facebook link does not.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Download the Dollar Tree iOS app

2. Click on "... More"

3. Scroll down to the Facebook icon

Result: The Facebook link inside of the Dollar Tree app for iOS does not take the user to an actual Dollar Tree Facebook account - it instead takes the user to a "This content isn't available right now" error message

Expected: There should be a working link to Dollar Tree's Facebook page (if one exists) - there should not be a link to an error message from inside of the app

Dollar Tree Facebook Link

From the "... More" area of the app, scroll down to the Facebook icon and select it...
