iOS 13.3
CollegeBacker app for iOS (version 1.1.4)
Date: 01/17/2020
Description:
There is a crash with the CollegeBacker app for iOS. There is an option to upload a profile photo. When the user activates this, and the camera is activated, there is an unexpected "video" option.
Selecting this "video" option crashes the app.
Here's a message from the crash dump....
It says: "This app has crashed because it attempted to access privacy-sensitive data without a usage description. Te app's info.plist must contain an NSMicrophoneUsageDescription key with a string value explaining to the user how the app uses this data."
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download the CollegeBacker app for iOS
2. Create an account
3. Go to upload a profile photo
4. Select the "VIDEO" option
Result: The CollegeBacker app for iOS (version 1.1.4) crashes if the user selects the "VIDEO" option in the profile picture camera prompt
Expected: There shouldn't be a "VIDEO" option here - nor should the app crash when it is selected
Please take a look at some attached screenshots:
Select the profile picture option...
Select "Take Photos or Video"....
Select the "VIDEO" option - the app will crash.
