HipVan app for iOS: No link in the auto-generated referral email

Minor problem with the HipVan app for iOS.

The app features a referral area to send an invite to the app to your friends. The referral area has an email option which opens the default Mail app on the device.

The problem is that the auto-generated email message lakes the link to hipvan.com/referrals.

This sort of makes the email pointless.


Steps to Reproduce:

1. Download and launch the HipVan account
2. Create an account
3. Select the "Me" option
4. Select the "Referrals" option
5. Select the Email option
6. Note no referral link in the email

Result: The auto-generated referral emails from the HipVan app don't have an active link

Expected: The auto-generated referral emails from the HipVan app should have an active link

Create an account, and head to this area to send a referral. Select the "EMAIL" option...

No link in the auto-generated email, as you can see....

Phillips app for iOS: Share sheet - Facebook Messenger UI is not displaying correctly

With the iOS device set to the light mode, there is a problem with the Phillips app and the iOS share sheet. The Facebook Messenger sharing UI doesn't display properly.

The "Done" and "Send" options aren't visible. It looks like this:

The red arrows are pointing to the "Done" and "Send" options which are not visible when the device is set to the light mode.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. With the iOS device set to the light mode, launch the Phillips app for iOS
2. From inside the Phillips app, select any upcoming auction
3. From any auction, select any individual item that's up for auction
4. From any item, select the share option
5. From the share sheet, select the Facebook Messenger option
6. Note that the Facebook Messenger sharing UI is discolored, with menu options invisible

Result: With the iOS device set to the light mode, the Phillips app, doesn't display the Facebook Messenger sharing option in the share sheet correctly

Expected: With the iOS device set to the light mode, the Facebook Messenger sharing UI should display properly

Overstock app for iOS: Camera Roll access prompt appears after selecting the share option from any product

Here's an odd one. This is the first time I have ever seen this with an iOS app.

With the current version (2020.3.2) of the Overstock app, a camera roll permission dialog message appears when the user selects the share sheet option from any product.

This message appears after selecting the share option for a product. Why? There doesn't seem to be any reason for asking for this message after selecting the share option, as it has nothing to do with accessing the share sheet....

I don't think that this message should be appearing at this point.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Download the Overstock for iOS for the first time
2. Select any product listed in the app
3. Select the share option from any product

Result: Camera roll access prompt appears after selecting the share option from any product listed in the Overstock app for iOS

Expected: This prompt shouldn't be appearing at this point

Download the app for the first time. Select any product. Select the share option....

Why is this being prompted now?

Overstock app for iOS: Share Sheet: Facebook Messenger sharing UI is discolored, can't see menu options

1. (With the device set to either light or dark mode) Download and launch the Overstock app for iOS
2. Select any product listed
3. Select the share option
4. From the share sheet, select the Facebook Messenger option

Result: The Overstock app for iOS displays the Facebook Messenger sharing UI menu incorrectly - the "Done" and "Send" options aren't visible

Expected: The Facebook Messenger sharing UI should be displayed properly by the Overstock app for iOS

Quibi app for iOS: Easy to reproduce crash from the "Watch Trailer" option...

Description:

I downloaded the Quibi app, and signed up for the free 90 day trial, after reading a lot about the app.

I liked the shows I saw, and this new "turnstyle" method or orientating the content on the screen.

There is one easy to reproduce crash with the app that I have discovered, however. I actually discovered this crash in regular user mode - I do believe that it is something that your average user might run into.

If you quickly double or triple tap the "Watch Trailer" option for any show, the app crash. I am getting this to reproduce with my iPhone 8 running 13.4 constantly.

1. Download and launch the Quibi app - sign up for free trial
2. From the "Today for you" section, select the "..." next to any show
3. Select the "More Info & Episodes" option from any show
4. Quickly tap "Watch Trailer" button (in either a ONE...TWO-THREE-FOUR or a ONE-TWO-THREE....FOUR-FIVE manner)

Result: Quickly tapping the "Watch Trailer" button frequently crashes the current version (1.0.9) of the Quibi app

Expected: The Quibi app should not crash if the user quickly taps a "Watch Trailer" button

Select the "..." option from any preview section...

Select the "More Info & Episodes" option...

Tap on the "Watch Trailer" option two or three times...

iHerb - Love Letter app for iOS: share sheet - Facebook Messenger and Email sharing options have missing UI

With the iHerb app for iOS, there are problems with iOS share sheet and the email and Facebook Messenger options.

Expected: There should be no problems with the iHerb app and the iOS share sheet - the Facebook Messenger and email sharing options should display correctly

Amazon Music app for iOS: Light Mode: The "Done" and "Edit" options are not visible on the additional Apps section of the share sheet

Minor problem with the current (9.7.1) version of the Amazon Music app for iOS and the share sheet.

On the additional Apps page, there are two options at the top of the menu. One is "Done" and the other is "Edit."

If the iOS device is set to the light mode these two options are not visible.

This is easier to show than to describe, so please take a look at these screenshots:

With the iOS device set to the light mode, the "Done" and "Edit" options in this area of the share sheet are just not visible.

With the device set to the dark mode, the "Done" and "Edit" options are visible.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. With the iOS device set to the light mode, launch the Amazon Music app for iOS
2. Select any song
3. Select the share option
4. From the share sheet, select the "... More" option
5. Note that "Done" and "Edit" are not visible

Result: The "Done" and "Edit" options are not visible on the Apps page if the iOS device is set to the light mode

Expected: The "Done" and "Edit" options should always be visible
