Amazon app for iOS: Link on the Privacy Policy page inside the iOS app does not work

 iOS 14.2

Amazon app for iOS (version 15.21.2)

Date: 11/22/20

Description:

Here's a minor complaint with the current (version 15.21.2) Amazon app for iOS. When new users are creating accounts, there is a prominent link to a privacy policy page. On this privacy policy page, there a link to the previous version of the privacy policy.

The "here" link does not work:

Nothing happens. The user is never taken to a prior version of the privacy notice. The user also can't scroll up or down on the privacy notice, and is forced to back out. I am guessing that this is not supposed to be happening.

Here's a video of the problem:

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Download the Amazon.com app for iOS

2. Launch the app

3. From the Account Creation/Account Login screen, select "Privacy Notice"

4. From the "Amazon.com Privacy Notice" screen, select the "here" link

Result: The "here" link on the Privacy Notice screen does not seem to work - it should take the user to a prior version of the privacy policy. Instead it just seems to never load. Scrolling up or down is disabled, and the user is forced to back out of the privacy policy

Expected: The "here" link on the Privacy Notice screen should work - it should take the user to a prior version of the Privacy Policy

Sparkle in Pink app for iOS: Selecting the camera option in the feedback menu crashes the app

Date: 11/20/20

Description:

Minor problem with the Sparkle in Pink app for iOS. Here's a video of it:

There is a feedback option inside of the app. If the user selects the camera option, the app seems to crash 100% of the time.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Download and launch the app (I didn't create an account)

2. Select the feedback option

3. Click the camera icon

4. Select "Take Photo"

Result: The Sparkle in Pink app crashes after the user selects the "Take Photo" option in the feedback form

Expected: The app shouldn't crash after the user selects the "Take Photo" option

E.gg - digital zine creator app for iOS: Usability suggestion - exit user after changing profile photo

 iOS 14.2

E.gg - digital zine creator (version 1.0.1)

Date: 11/20/20

Description:

Here's a small usability suggestion for the E.gg - digital zine creator app for iOS that was just released.

The process of changing the profile picture is very cumbersome, and not very user friendly.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a new account

2. Upload a new profile photo (from either the camera or album)

3. Note that user is left on a screen with two options - an "X" and an "Upload Photo" button

4. Press the "X" button to cancel out

5. Cancel out of the edit option

Result: Confusing user experience for uploading a new profile photo inside of the new e.gg app for iOS

Expected: After successful upload of a profile photo, the user should be taken back to a profile screen. User should not be stranded on a screen with an "X" or an "Upload photo" option after a photo has been successfully uploaded

Select the "Edit" option to change the default egg symbol...

Select the "Change Photo" option...

Select either the "Camera" or "Gallery" options...

Choose a photo...

After uploading the photo, instead of the app taking the user back to the previous screen, the user is left stranded here. Was the photo successfully uploaded? Why isn't here a "Done" button? Is the "X" a "Done" button, or a close/cancel button?

After exiting out, the default egg icon doesn't change. What happened to the photo I selected?

Now the photo updates! Confusing!
